Being a voice guide wasn't something I chose. In more ways than one, it chose me long before I really understood. From the stage to management, HR and community roles at work, and on to running an online magazine. For as long as I can remember, a voice in my head has whispered, "Your voice is the mission." Over time that message has morphed and resurfaced in different ways, but the core remains the same. The voice of the people can and will change worlds. Sometimes it feels like a small thing, but speaking your needs in your own home sends out ripples. They make bigger changes than we often take the time to notice, or get to see.
Your voice has layers. Your inner voice is the one that knows before the rest of you has time to catch up. You feel it in your gut or in your bones. Your outer voice is the one the world hears. It can speak truth just as easily as it can hide it. Then, of course, there is the voice of the world, often the loudest and most persistent. It tells you how you are expected to behave and how to be a "good human". And then there is the true voice. Your true voice is not only something you speak, but something you must learn to embody.
This type of voice work isn't about getting sales in your business or changing the tone and rhythm of what you say. Your voice is a living thing, full of many chapters. Where to begin with unravelling and exploring that? Well, that is simple: we start at the very beginning, of course!

Full of raw honesty, heart threads and activations for the throat. Each chapter invites you to pause and listen for what stirs in your own body. It is written in small, separated paragraphs and a larger font, so it is easy to pick up if you don't think of yourself as a reader. Some pages will feel like a warm hearth, others like a door kicked open. Take them at the pace your voice allows.

There is a voice that was here before yours — wild, unclaimed, and half-forgotten. This November, Howl calls it back in seven days of audio. Tracing the voice of the land — the cry beneath the birdsong, the sound the wind makes when no one is listening, the old tongue that lived here long before words got tidy.
As the land whispers its ancient secrets, we listen deeply, honouring the unseen currents that shape us. Through sound and silence, we reconnect to the ancient echoes that pulse beneath our modern lives, awakening a kinship with the wild and the sacred that resides within all of us.
There is a forest that exists between the world you know and the one you've forgotten. It has always been there. Eleven days is how long it takes to walk through it, with your listening.
Beginning November 11th, one transmission arrives each day — a call sent out into the dark, the way the old ones sent their voices before there were maps for where they were going.
This is a bardic journey. Each transmission is a step deeper into the trees, into the parts of yourself that have been waiting in the undergrowth for someone to come looking. You won't know exactly what you'll find. That's the nature of a forest, and of this kind of listening. Some days will crack something open. Some days will simply ask you to sit with the dark a while longer, and trust it.
Long before the written word, wisdom moved through sound. Through the voice of the bard, the song of the land, the story carried on breath from one generation to the next. These recordings are made to be taken with you. Walked into the landscape, listened to at the edge of the tide, carried into the woods or across the moor.
